thesis

Amphibians are among the most severely impacted taxa, with reports indicating that over 40% of species are now threatened with extinction. Scientific projections of rising global temperatures only heighten the concerns among conservationists regarding the future trajectory of amphibian declines. One amphibian species of particular concern is the endangered Littlejohn’s tree frog (Litoria littlejohni), a species endemic to New South Wales (NSW), Australia. This thesis presents critical findings from this conservation research, integrating life history, reproductive, and genetic insights to better understand and protect this threatened species.
