Investigating determinants influencing the sustainability of chronic disease prevention interventions in schools and early childhood education and care settings

thesis
posted on 2025-05-09, 04:23 authored by Adam James Shoesmith
This thesis provides a compilation of sustainability-focused research on synthesising determinants to intervention sustainability and measures of sustainability determinants, in addition to developing and validating a measure of contextually-specific sustainability determinants. Collectively, this improves our understanding of what influences sustainability of evidence-based interventions within ECEC services and schools. Additionally, it provides considerable guidance for the development of strategies supporting sustainment of interventions targeting chronic disease risk factors in these settings.
