Application of green chemistry approaches to cytotoxic compounds

thesis
posted on 2025-05-10, 14:05 authored by Ahmed Abdullah Al Otaibi
The specific synthesis of organic compounds requires careful control of reaction parameters conditions, such as temperatures, pressure and solvent. In the recent years, room temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) have been the subject of considerable interest and widely used in organic synthesis. Ionic liquids were used throughout this study in an effort to optimise and development of a variety of synthetic pathways to cytotoxic compounds. The use of ionic liquids was coupled with microwave and flow chemistry technologies.
