Examines the shortcomings of the Romantic ideal of creativity through individual accomplishment. Compared with the Systems Model of Creativity developed by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi where individual creativity operates within a framework occupied by others engaged in the creative process. The author develops argument through the recording process.
