Psychometric properties of a Chinese version of the Level of Expressed Emotion scale and expressed emotion of family members perceived by patients with severe mental illness.

The psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the Level of Expressed Emotion scale revealed a high level of reliability and validity in a large convenience sample of Chinese outpatients with severe mental illness in Hong Kong. 2.
