The article focuses on Marxism related to religion. As stated by the author, it has been assumed in history by some philosophers that the Marxist narrative of history has been influenced by Jewish and Christian thought. The author argued against this thought. He referred to the economist Karl Marx's teacher and friend Bruno Bauer who was also one of Germany's leading biblical scholars in the 1840s.
