Cardiomyopathy

Cardiomyopathy includes a spectrum of conditions of various pathologies. The appropriate diagnostic tools should be used to achieve the diagnosis and plan the appropriate management. Although in most cases treatment is the same as that for heart failure in general, specific therapies may be undertaken depending on the pathological process associated with the particular cardiomyopathy.
