The Rouchel bushmans carnival and the Rouchel

Allan Chawner's constellation of photographs entitled The Rouchel Bushmans Carnival and the Rouchel is a chronicle of life in a small rural community in the upper Hunter Valley in NSW. Foe almost 20 years, Chawner and his family have visited The Rouchel, their annual pilgrimage focused around the calendar event of The Rouchel Bushmans Carnival, which forms the heart of this exhibition.
