This paper investigates discrete-time multi-agent single-input consensus systems in regard to the control design and scalability. In particular, we propose a new controller design that handles any number of connected agents and various communication structures, belonging to a defined group of graphs, without the need to change the individual controller of the agents. We give a rigorous proof that the resulting system achieves consensus.
