Unidentified costume design by 'Wilhelm' possibly for the musical The Dairymaids by Robert Courtneidge and Paul Rubens which opened at the Queen's Theatre, 5 May, 1908. 'Wilhelm' (1859-1925) was the designer of both costumes and the ballets of the Drury Lane pantomimes for 25 years until 1892. He also designed the Empire costumes 1887-1914, the costumes for Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore and The Mikado and worked with Oscar Barret at the Lyceum and Crystal Palace.
