Costume design for the two thieves in Chu Chin Chow . (Written by Australian Oscar Asche (1872-1936), the musical fantasy based on Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves ran at His Majesty's Theatre continuously from 1916 to 1921). Percy Anderson (1851-1928) began his career by designing the costumes for John Hollingshead's production of The Lady of the Locket (Empire, 1885).
