Entropy Awakening started with a question about law’s regulation of colonial statues and invites reflection on the contribution of art-making to public discourse on thorny socio-political and legal issues. The physical arrangement of five collections of creative works within the gallery space (‘Self-actualisation’, ‘Tear it Down’, ‘Archetypes’, ‘Sacred Destruction’, ‘Entropy’, and ‘Awakening’), the incorporation of the curator and artist’s collaborative research on anti-racist protest as multimedia works, and the commission and selection of “Entropy Awakening” (2022) as the finale work of the Exhibition amplify the curatorial impact.
